Pricing: what is free, and what Premium adds
relif is free to download on iOS 15 and later and Android 8.0 and later, and it is usable every day without paying: unlimited guided breathing, three relief techniques a day and five messages to Liam. Premium starts at $14.99 a month and unlocks journeys, reframing and all three journals.

Free to download — and genuinely usable free
“Free” here means free to download with an optional paid subscription. You can open relif without creating an account at all: anonymous use gives you three relief techniques and two messages to Liam in total, plus unlimited breathing. Creating a free account — an email address, no card — raises the daily allowances and unlocks mood tracking, the gratitude journal, chat history and the 40-badge achievement system.

Premium plans and prices
These are the United States App Store list prices. Apple and Google convert to your local currency and add tax where it applies, so the number you see at checkout may differ. The price and the renewal terms are always shown in the app before you confirm anything.
- Monthly — $14.99/month. The no-commitment option.
- Annual — $107.99/year. About $9.00 a month, roughly 40% less than paying monthly. This is the plan most people pick.
- 21-Day Challenges Community — $11.99, one payment. A separate product, described below.
The free trial
Subscription plans are offered with a free trial as a store introductory offer. Because the trial is configured in the App Store and Google Play rather than in the app, the exact length is whatever your store shows you on the purchase sheet, and eligibility depends on your store account — someone who has already used a trial on this app will not be offered another. We deliberately do not print a number here that your store might contradict.
Before you confirm, the app states the terms in plain language: the trial length, the price and period that follow, that it auto-renews, that you can cancel any time, and that there is no charge today.
Auto-renewal and cancelling
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancelling is done in your store account, not in relif:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → relif → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → relif → Cancel.
Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the period you have already paid for ends. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. There is no cancellation flow that hides the cancel button, and no confirm-shaming.
The Community challenge is a separate purchase
The 21-Day Challenges Community is a one-time purchase, not a subscription tier. It gives lifetime access to every challenge cycle: a locale-scoped WhatsApp cohort, a daily “did you practise today?” check-in, a 7×3 progress grid, an encouragement wall and optional accountability buddies. There is no leaderboard and no ranking by design.
A Premium subscription includes Community access. Buying Community on its own does not include Premium features. Community is also sold through this website in local currency, which is a different checkout from the app-store subscription.
Using relif without paying, and without an account
You can use relif anonymously. That is a deliberate privacy decision, not an oversight — see the privacy page. Guided breathing is unlimited on every tier and works without a connection. Crisis detection and verified helplines are never gated behind a paywall or an account.

Is relif free?
relif is free to download, with an optional paid subscription. The free tier is not a time-limited trial: unlimited breathing, three relief techniques a day, five messages to Liam, mood tracking and the gratitude journal stay free.
Why is Premium 100 messages a day rather than unlimited?
Because that is the actual limit, and calling it “unlimited” would be inaccurate. Each message costs us model inference, and a hard ceiling keeps the service predictable. Details on the Liam page.
Do you offer student, regional or discounted pricing?
There is no student plan. Apple and Google convert the US list price into local currency automatically, and stores occasionally run their own promotional offers. We do not publish regional price tiers that are not live.
If I subscribe on the website, does it work in the app?
Yes. A subscription bought through this website unlocks the corresponding features when you sign in with the same account in the mobile app.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. For anything bought through this site, email support@myrelif.com.
