Mood tracking and the 0–100 wellness score

A relif mood check-in records mood on a 1–5 scale, stress on 1–10, an optional emoji, context and a note. Entries roll up into a calendar, trend charts and a 0–100 wellness score. Basic tracking is free with an account; deeper pattern analysis is a Premium feature.

Mood check-ins in seconds

Pick how you feel, add a note if you like, and relif keeps the entries together so patterns are easier to notice.

What a check-in records

Mood on a 1–5 scale (labelled from “very bad” through “okay” to “great”), stress on 1–10, an optional emoji from a twelve-word vocabulary — overwhelmed, anxious, worried, sad, down, uneasy, neutral, okay, happy, peaceful, great, amazing — optional context, and a free-text note. It takes a few seconds; the note is the part that turns a number into something you can read back later.

relif also picks up mood keywords from your conversations with Liam and offers to log them. That detection is keyword matching, not machine learning, and it is throttled to avoid nagging. Nothing is logged without you confirming it.

The wellness score

Entries roll up into a single 0–100 wellness score with named bands: Flourishing from 85, Thriving from 70, Growing from 55, Building from 40, Developing from 25, and Starting below that. Alongside it the progress dashboard shows mood and stress trends, which relief techniques you rated as effective, your best day of the week and your usual time of day.

What the score is not: it is not a clinical measure, not a screening tool and not an assessment of whether you have anxiety. It is a summary of what you typed in. relif does not diagnose anything, and no number in the app should be read as a health assessment.

Liam’s Weekly Reflection

Once a week relif produces a reflection written in Liam’s voice over your aggregated week — how your mood moved, which techniques you used, what changed. It is generated by the same fine-tuned model that powers chat, so it is AI-written and can be wrong.

It arrives the day after the cultural week ends, at 10:00: Sunday for Hebrew, Saturday for Arabic, Monday for everyone else. Small detail, but it is the difference between a product that was localised and one that was translated.

Where other apps do this better

Dedicated trackers such as Daylio and Bearable have deeper symptom and habit correlation than relif does, and if fine-grained tracking is your main goal they are the better tool. relif’s mood tracking exists to give Liam and the weekly reflection something to work with, and to show you whether the techniques you are using correspond to anything. It is a supporting feature, not the headline.

A word on storage

Mood entries and their notes are stored unencrypted in relif’s database, protected by per-user access rules rather than by encryption at rest. Only four surfaces are encrypted before storage: chat messages, chat bookmarks, Liam’s memory and Thought Reframe answers. We list this on the privacy page instead of claiming everything is encrypted, because that claim would not be true.

Common questions

Does the wellness score tell me if I have anxiety?

No. It is a summary of your own entries, not a screening instrument. relif does not assess or diagnose anything. If you are worried about your anxiety, speak to a healthcare professional.

Is mood tracking free?

Yes, with a free account: check-ins, the calendar and the wellness score. Advanced analytics and the full dashboard are Premium. Anonymous use does not include mood tracking.

Does relif read my chats to log my mood?

It matches keywords in your chat and offers to log a mood entry, throttled so it is not constant. It is keyword matching, not a model reading your messages for analysis, and nothing is saved unless you confirm.

Can I export or delete my mood history?

Yes — the app includes a data export and full account deletion, both described in the privacy policy.
